2008 Board of Directors

The Central Illinois Golf Course Superintendent Association was organized June 21,1954, at Tilden Hall, Bloomington, Illinois. The initial meeting was held, called by the joint effort of Joe Kelly of the George A. Davis Company and James M. Brandt, of the Danville Country Club, Danville, Illinois.

It was agreed that there was a definite need and desire of the men engaged in the profession of maintaining golf courses to meet, discuss problems of mutual interest, and bring in specialists to meet with the golf course superintendent.
